Welcome to my personal website! My name is Furkan, I am a Ph.D. student in Physics at Harvard University.

My research focuses on the origins of life, a fascinating field that seeks to understand how life arose from non-living matter. As a physicist, I am interested in the physical and chemical processes that may have led to the emergence of life, and how these processes can be studied experimentally. Through my work, I hope to contribute to our understanding of one of the most fundamental questions of science: what is life and how did it begin?

I am thrilled to have this platform to share not only my research but also my personal experiences with you. As you navigate through this site, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or comments. Your engagement is highly valued.
Looking for a concise overview of my research? I recommend diving into the well-crafted article featured in Quanta Magazine and the short film "Cracking Chirality" by Chemistry Shorts. They provide a clear and accessible summary of my work that you won't want to miss!
